Jobs of the Taskmistress:
- Perform Tasks for the Mansion which are best performed by a female().
- Deal with problem ("zappy"()) machines.
- Visit the Spindizzies in the Central Core to talk once a week(
). - Lead() the group preparing the honeymoon cabin on Alwin Island for weddings.
- Hire and supervise() the Notification Artificer. (The Mansion has not had a Notification Artificer since The Crash.) Or just find someone to fix the signs cheaply().
- Starting with Rosemary: Acting as a guard for the mansion(), the job starting when Myrrh resigned().
Recent Taskmistresses for the Mansion:
- Nirvana Clepe was the last official Taskmistress for the Mansion. She left about eight years ago().
- Sylvester's sister Lil acted as Taskmistress until she left on a trip() with her mother about two years ago.
- Nellie Grub acted as Taskmistress after Lil left.
- Rosemary arrived and quickly took over() the position.
Threnody remains the emergency back-up Taskmistress() after Rosemary's appointment.
