I have a personal theory as to why Rosemary is susceptible to mind-magic: she is a very headstrong person that follows through whatever comes up in her mind. The moment she thinks of a course of action she sets out to do it. Hence her impulsiveness: as soon as she has an idea in her mind she does it. There is no hesitation or excuse-seeking a normal (and more restrained, and less trouble-finding) people have.
And for this reason, she never really developed the idea of checking herself and her own thoughts. She trusts herself so much that she can't quite seperate out a foreign influence coming up. She doesn't quesiton it because she never did so beforehand.
Of course, this weakness might have been somewhat negated by her recent mind-thralling. The experience may have made her to be suspicous of readily accepting a thought in her head or recognise foreign thoughts more readily. This may explain why the Operator was unable to access/command her head while Rosemary was dreaming.Zixinus (talk) 12:25, December 28, 2013 (UTC)
